QUICK REVIEW of All The Hidden Paths
Audio:
The narrators brought back their characters fantastically, zero complaints. I adored the humor and affectations the cast used throughout the recording.
The story:
This was a really great follow-up to book one, which focused primarily on trauma and healing and Vel & Cae’s love story. Book two followed the natural progression of their relationship and their challenges as a newly married royal couple.
I loved the addition of new characters, and our morally grey villain who set out to ruin Vel and Cae’s marriage.
The political intrigue and commentary on privilege were both interesting, and ultimately I just really enjoyed the ride.
