Beyond the Teacups is a still, slow romance that sneaks up on you all at once. Featuring Ophelia, a tea shop owner dealing with major anxiety and grief, and Emmett, a lonely mailman drifting through life, this book tugs on your heartstrings and envelops you into a hug.

Renee’s descriptions are absolutely stunning. Havenwood permeates the mind and Ophelia’s tea shop takes up residence in your heart as you read. I can easily imagine her tea blends, the cosy atmosphere, and Ophelia’s beautiful personality shining through in everything she does.

All in all, Beyond the Teacups is a story of healing, hope, and embracing positive change. Emmett and Ophelia learn to lean on each other but they also learn to trust themselves.

Renee also includes some of Ophelia’s baking recipes in the back of the book! I definitely want to try them out with my kids 💖

This is a beautiful little novel that I definitely recommend with a cup of tea, preferably while sitting in a garden or tea shop, but anywhere will do if you allow Havenwood to settle into your heart.
