In The Shadow Garden
By Liz Parker

In the Shadow Garden follows two families in a beautifully magical backdrop of rural Kentucky.
Exploring themes of trauma, grief, family (born and found) and healing, it takes us on a journey of feuding families, unexplained magickal abilities, and the power of memories.
Liz Parker doesn’t rush. The story moves gently alongside the characters as they struggle to navigate changes in their lives and magickal Shadow Garden.
I can’t think of other books to compare this to, but it’s reminiscent of Gilmore Girls’ family dynamics, Riverdale’s feuding, power-hungry families, and The Good Witch’s charms.
